The Rogue Valley is full of fall fun, and one of the best ways to experience it is to spend the day at the pumpkin patch. The only question is – which one to head to? The choices are many, all with different activities. Here’s a guide to help you decide where to find that perfect pumpkin.
Fort Vannoy Farms: Corn Maze and Pumpkin Patch
The farm is open every weekend until October 31st. Here you can take the hay ride down to the pumpkin patch and pick out the perfect pumpkin. On the way be sure to make your way through the four-acre corn maze. These stalks are tall, 12 feet high, and the maze is large. So large, in fact, we were provided with a map to make sure we found our way out. On October 30th from 7:30-10:00 p.m. it will become the Haunted Corn Maze. Aside from the corn maze the farm has various food vendors, hay rides, a petting zoo and the not-to-be-missed pumpkin cannon. The pumpkin cannon and corn maze both cost $5 per person.
